Can you please explain your line of thought?

If say i'm boxing and i'm square on and in transition and someone hits me and i'm off balance and touch down and i get straight back up i don't see how that can be my chin?. Just being caught in a bad position. Or like when Tony was counted in a fight earlier in his career when his opponent punched/pushed his tit and he fell back and touched down and was counted. I just don't see how that can be down to having a chin.

Ie. The knockdowns in this fight. I'd say Naseem had a pretty decent enough chin but his technical flaws were exposed by Kelley in this bout with timing. His balance was not there due to his poor positioning but i'd not associate his chin with these knockdowns?. Other then first shot and tbh he jumped up and looked good to go. Just embarrassed more then anything.

I've seen guys with fantastic chins touch down from punches cos there off balance.

It's a fight where Groves can look the part, no real threat to him from a power POV. Smith just doesn't have the necessary tools to win fights at SMW other then manhandling his opponents and grinding them down with pressure.

Groves should look to stop the fight from 7 onwards. Paul's a tough and willing lad no doubts about it but Groves is a bigger stronger man with power and better skill level.

  6. Kenny is a danger man. Sadly, the benefits aren't really worth the risk fighting a guy like that.

    Quack,quack.

You do know that Groves beat him the first time?

How the hell can you duck someone you already beat fair and square?

The only interesting thing about this matchup is to seeing how aggressive Groves will be in there.

  10. I'm not saying that Groves would duck Anderson, merely that generally Anderson is a pretty much an avoided fighter. Maybe, I should have worded my post a bit better.

Why would Groves want to fight a guy he's already beaten. Yeah it was a close fight and Groves got one hell of a fright, but surely he should be looking forward.

I wouldn't mind a rematch, but I think Kenny needs to prove he deserves it. And agree that Groves should be moving. Smith's an ok marking-time fight, but he's clearly no better than British level.
