Groves beats him. And if he had Booth behind him he'd KO him.

Callum is way too stiff for someone like GG.

Right now... You'd have to go with George but wouldn't be easy. Let's see how Callum does with Rebrasse.

Smith by KO for me. Groves looks gun shy, if he gets back to his best then he probably beats him but I think Smith looks top class.

Callum Smith would beat Groves, too powerful, better body puncher and got a better engine.

Be intresting to see how Smith does against Rebrasse this week. Groves got a lot of criticism for that performance but I think Rebrasse is a decent fighter.

I'm far from convinced about Smith - looks very stiff to me and we don't know what his chin is like. I'm looking forward to the rabrase fight to answer some of my questions

Likewise. Really good fight at this stage. Would be impressed if Smith stops him.

Groves easily, stoppage or clear UD losing at most 3 rounds. Look forward to what the future brings, but I think Groves is too mobile and too skilled in general.

It will be interesting to revisit this thread after Friday to see if people's opinions change one way or the other on Smith

True, I myself am intrigued as well - I don't think Friday will be the real test of whether Smith is ready for Groves, but it will definitely give a large indication! That is of course assuming Callum performs. I'm more concerned about Groves' next big fight than Smith's current path. Groves has so much talent, but I doubt his mindset and stamina, as many do - when he was with Booth his movement and defence was incredible at times, against Jack we will see if he bottles or can rebuild. A huge huge make or break fight in his career. One I feel he will prevail in, but you never know in boxing.

Yeah. I say current Groves loses to Ward and Degale, but beat Chudinov, Abraham and Jack
