Have you seen a change in Groves over the years at all???? He seems vacant looking sometimes to me, like slightly damaged. Yeah Cox was a mini war wasn't it, Cox reminds me of a poorer Lemieux in a way

agree Groves has the emptiness in his eyes. Froch even said it "look at those glossy eyes"

It stinks too, Groves recently fought 160-154 Cox so it's hard to gauge where Groves is exactly. Groves picked Cox apart but Cox is at least one division smaller

One things for sure I don't see how Smith has a chance at stopping Groves after the Holtzken performance.

I'm picking Groves to masterbox/pick Smith apart but this could be a close fight.

Really, he said that ??? If I was close to him i'd ask for a very thorough brain examination to be undertaken. Sometimes when interviewed I notice when asked something he looks like he's not going to answer or hasn't heard someone's talking to him, then he starts replying, there's a lull when processing stuff. I feel he has brain damage if im honest

Paddy Fitzpatrick trained Groves who employed dumb tactics lost a razor-close decision to Badou Jack, Dark Lord trained Groves or the current Shane McGuigan one trained beats Jack.

Groves almost sparked out the iron-jawed Carl ''The Cobra'' Froch and would of if that right hand bomb had landed 20 seconds earlier. And obviously the ref's decision to wave it off was extremely controversial.

Groves was whopping Froch in the rematch too prior to getting caught with that throwaway distraction left hook to set up the lights out right hand combo ala Lewis vs Rahman II, a combo so devastating that no fighter in history could withstand it if the right lands flush. One lapse in concentration and it's over. And again, just as it had been in the first fight, that was the Fitzpatrick trained Groves.

Groves wins all 3 of those fights if Booth or McGuigan are in his corner thus making his record devoid of any blemishes.

And Groves knocked out Jamie Cox who sparked out Badou Jack cold in the gym so that avenges Groves razor-close loss to Jack.

And Cox bashed up Olympic gold medalist and 2 x IBF SMW champion DeGale in the gym so that makes Groves a 3 x winner against DeGale.

But I told you guys Groves wasn't the clear best at 168. I was rooting for Groves but just like Linares at 135, he didn't fight the other top dogs like Smith, Benavidez, or Jose.

at least 2G was completely humble in defeat this time, the delusions of grandeur have gone. He has finally become a man.

Yeah... well... it's because... I was... blinded by Groves fair skin! Yes, that's it, and I'm sticking with that story!

Props to Smith being the best Smith right now. Even better as Paul "world class" Smith...
He should be careful, because if he pulls this in the US against a US opponent, he would 100% get DQ'd, and 110% when it's against one of the Dirrell brothers.

    Props to Callum!
