I've no issue with Jnr who is brash but ok.

His dad on the other hand should have the words of his signature tune changed to "you're simply a d**k"

 

Two of the best ring walks in boxing today as well, Spitfire for Groves and Still Dre for Eubank.

Only thing I hate about George is his stupid trumpet band in the crowd.

Best thing about the intros is just one national anthem.

Buatsi has a nice active guard but he needs to move his head.
But his does probe and feint often. Hes not great at it but its a good sign for future development.
The biggest issue i see is that he commits to his punches too often.

But he seems rather promising indeed.

I'm going for Groves. It's hard to judge Eubank jr IMO. His performance against Yildrim drew praise, but Yildrim was as straight up & down basic as they come. No inside work, very little jab to set up attacks, bait or probe. No active guard, high guard constantly. No change of angles or distance, no change of speed on his punches so Eubank should have looked good.

Groves doesn't move as much as his younger days but sometimes that was wasted movement, he uses subtle moves/steps to adjust his range. He doesn't commit to the jab all the time, he draws leads and counters well. The right hand remains a weapon, & unlike Yildrim who just stayed on the inside & waited to be hit, Groves will at least hold or attempt to gain some kind of control on the inside.

Groves may have lost some hand speed but his timing will make up for that. Could be that Eubank jr is a superstar & breaks Groves spirit and stops him but I see Groves timing him often enough to keep him honest, maybe even buzz him or drop him on the way to a clear enough UD.

Not entirely sure on what I've seen from Eubank makes some think he'll walk though Groves but I guess I'll find out soon enough. Can't wait.

 

I'm not an expert and can't answer your question... but I'm someone who thinks T Fury, Joshua and Eubank Jr are the real deal and have done for a while on all of them. I think Eubanks' movement and combinations and relentlessness will destroy Groves in the middle rounds... maybe as early as third, but probably more like 6 or 7, maybe much later.

both groves and eubank fought the chudinov brothers

Eubank went life and death with the weaker of the brothers

groves stopped the better brother who also is a lot bigger

the only question is if groves still close to his best if he is eubank will lose;

 

And if he is and eubank still beats him people will say he wasn't close to his best. lol
