Another good 12 round fight that will help Groves improve and mature as a fighter.

I bet Sukhotsky is feeling ultra smug right now.

It was on a cut, so probably not.

Yes. But he still looked very vulnerable at times.

George always looks lose and venerable that's his style. Think he was mature in this performance. His jab is brilliant

Did anyone else see andrew selby? It was like his opponent was fighting at a different speed. Selby just joking around pulling all sorts of crazy moves. Bet he has harder time in sparring

He looked alright... But didn't see any improvements in his game. He'd beat Zeuge but probably loses to Degale in a rematch and probably comes up just short of beating Jack again.

Still think the best Groves we'll ever see was in the first Froch fight. That one and the rematch took something from him - the vital last 5% - that never came back. Might still win a world title against the right opponent but destined not to fulfill his potential. Have to add as well... his conditioning doesn't seem to be quite what it was.

Just finished watching the Andrew Selby match (in replay).
That was a really good perfomance and I think that Selby is another British world champion in the making.

Yeah dead right that five percent is massive though,Froch was amazing round that period and basically finished Butes career at least for his next three fights

The trouble with George for me is that he isnt as menatally strong as he believes he is, he struggles to turn a fight around if he isnt making the running and lapses in concentration leave his opponents with too many opportunities to land a big shot....hope im wrong btw
