George Groves vs Frank Buglioni or Fedor Chudinov

The only way Frank would win imo is if George throws hundreds of shots, trying to throw power punches all the time. Like he has unfortunately been trying to do his last few fights and ended up really tiring.

Not sure Buglioni would stand up to George's power though if he still gets hit cleanly as he does.

Think it would be an easy fight for Groves he's still on another level above Buglioni, let's not forget he only just lost a split decision vs Badou Jack.

 

I do agree though, could be a good route to pick up a belt and get him back in the mix.

 

Don't mean to be a ***** as you seem to know ya boxing op, but Bug is nowhere near Gg level.

I was basically ringside and the fight should of been stopped, chudinov is basic and was all over him.

 

I think he would beat Chudinov, snappy fast Jab and good footwork.

Whilst Chudinov is good at what he does and would make it hard work, he'd be taking some quality shots too that would slow him down.

Basically I think Chudinov is a worse version of Badou Jack, I'd still be ery confident Groves would get the win but he'd most likely have to work very very hard for it..could get tricky if he started to struggle.

One upside is Chudinov doesn't look a big puncher, although I do think he lost snap in his punches after that knockdown.

 

He fought out of his skin, the best he will ever box and still lost by a country mile mate

 

I Cannot stand Georgie boy, but lets be honest, he's levels above Bug and Chud.

The fight wouldn't go past the 2nd round.

 

We will see just how much that took out of Buglioni when he fights again.
Getting a few messages saying "Buglioni will never be the same".

I think Groves would beat Chudinov but let's be fair Chudnikov has only had 14 professional fights and has fought both his world title fights away from home. I, sure there are better performances to come from him.

Chudnikov has done everything asked of him, I agree he wasn't spectacular tonight but I wouldn't dismiss him completely just on tonight's performance.

 

Not Groves biggest fan but him v Bug lol total mismatch George would stop him inside 3 if he choose too, levels apart.

 

Groves would stop bug, but he isnt looking to fight him. Chudinov is probably what he will be after to get a world title although regular title which is a joke by the wba. He can win that on points.

 

I think Chud beats Groves on last night's performance. He's an economical iron man reminding me of a poor man's Tony Zale. With only 13 pro fights chud can only get better. Groves certainly has topped out.

Whatever is left of Groves and Buglioni now I feel is an increasing step behind where Chud is going now.

 

Grover would smash Bug-lion like a bug. And probably outpoint Chud wide, maybe even stop him.

Chudinov is clearly flawed, but fought a guy that had no business being ranked that high in the WBA list.
Buglioni's only claim to fame was landing his best shot clearly after the bell, with the commentators actively rooting for the cheapshot to have done enough damage that he could still pull it off.

 

I don't think Groves has anything to offer at Chudinovs level. His punch resistance has become alarming. Groves vs Buglioni could even be 50-50...
