    Round 2

Groves is still chucking, but Johnson is getting in his licks with that patient right hand, and jabbing the body.

    10-9 Groves

    20-18 Groves

Johnson refusing to pull the trigger. Looks like Johnson was paid to come in and make Groves look good. He continues to walk in close, and not let his hands go. Seems weird.

    Round 3

Groves puts out jabs, holding his left straight down at his side. Straight flurries by Groves, trying to work in around or through Johnson's guard. Nice right hand by Groves, but Johnson takes it well. Jabs up top by Johnson, pushing and pawing with it. Chopping rights by Johnson, slipped as Groves leans over to the side. Clinches, neither man gaining an advantage, evenly matched in strength as they shove into one another.

    10-9 Groves

    30-27 Groves

Is Johnson not pulling the trigger? Or is it a drawing style? I think it's the former I hope it's the later. Nice ****ing lead left uppercut from Groves in that round!

Johnson is covered and cuts off the ring. When Groves is on ropes Johnson unleash combinations. Mostly aiming the body. Groves sticks and moves. He seems fine to take a punch or two Johnson from even flush. Throws a lot of punches in bunches but a lot are on guard

Ah, there you go, corner sells it. Not part of the plan.

    Round 4

Johnson is sticking out slow jabs, up and down. Groves is the only one throwing in multiples. Groves not sitting on his punches, circling and flurrying. Johnson is just following, dropping the jab out of his high guard. Groves is circumventing Johnson's forearms with his slaps.

    10-9 Groves

    40-36 Groves

I was thinking the same, he might look for the Ko punch or try to pressure Groves into a high pace, to drain him of his stamina.

Johnson doesn't appear to have the workrate in him anymore.

Sad to see. But amazing to think an old far past prime Johnson is giving the fight he is - in his prime I think he'd be eating Groves by now...

Nice shoulder charge Groves! Groves showing some great ****ing touches. If he don't gas (might not matter even if he does at this rate...) I think he's looking improved.

    Round 5

Long jab by Groves. Johnson presses his knuckles to his cheeks and lets the Groves jab tickle him between the eyes or get squeezed out by the leather bumpers otherwise protecting his face. Groves grinds in against Johnson, rubbing his shoulder into him. Johnson tries to wrestle him back, looping his right arm around Groves' left and pinning it close. Uppercuts and sidewinding right hands by Groves as he sidles back out of the pocket. Body combo by Groves, whipping a left hook and then going low with the other hand. Johnson turns his back, complaining, and gets a moment to recover. Johnson presses in and scores a jab but Groves lands a 1-2 off the ropes to escape to his left. Body shot and high straight flurry by Groves. Uppercuts by Groves, leaning in as Johnson just embraces him without punching. High right hand by Johnson, barking, over Groves' shoulder. Groves leans back toward the ropes and springs an uppercut on Johnson as he comes in. Groves ducks low and Johnson guillotines him with a rabbit punch. Groves dips but keeps his balance and responds with a straight combo.

    10-9 Groves

    50-45 Groves

This fight might fire up in the 9th and 10th rounds.
