We have 2 up and coming prospects with good potentiel facing eachother.. Neither guy is very experienced, holds any importent titles or is big money names.. I just dont understand why they throw two young prospect in the ring against eachother, why not wait 3-4 years? There is not much to win for either guy, but there is alot to lose...

This fight could just be so much bigger if they both were champions, or one of them was and the other one a contender (assuming that they are able to compete at an elite level in the future)

I personally think it is refreshing to see two boxers take a risk such as this so early in there career.

True... But still.. I wouldnt mind them taking a couple of more fights, hyping the fight a little bit.. And maybe.... If possible, get some sort of title to make the fight more interresting.. These fighters is unknown to casual fans, tbh i havent seen either of them fight yet and im pretty sure that this fight is not on danish television..

I think that this fight doesn't really require a title belt. Its about two young blokes that hate each other. As long as its not a complete one sided beat down, the will surely fight again in a few years for a major title. This is probably the start of a massive rivalry.

Plus, in terms of domestic titles they are two of the biggest names in Britain and Degale is British Champion. Behind the world champions, there are few as big as Degale especially.

Good fight for British boxing.... Possibly a world title shot for the winner but not the end of the world for the loser. Alot of the time when these kinda fight wait to long they dont happen. Excellent timing i feel, proper grudge match. If you haven't seen neither of these fight u've been living in a homeless shelter

I can fully see your point. As a fan that does not live in the United Kingdom I can imagine it is probably difficult to get fully immersed in this fight. However I can inform you that it has created quite the buzz over here, and I believe that the O2 will sell out more because of this fight then the one between Nathan Cleverly vs Juergen Braehmer.

I myself am going, and cannot wait.

Have you got some kind of financial interest? If not then shut the **** up.

I can't wait to see these two get it on.

The whole hyping of fights and cherry picking fights is what has knocked this sport out of the limelight. We need to move away from the idea that a defeat means the end of your career.

And fans like you with ridiculous comments like this do not help with the perception of boxing.
