You've also got the added dimension that Degale is a complete tool. Many people want to see him get beat. He keeps calling groves 'ugly kid' which is bit rich considering he has a head like a potato.

stevo78 is right, I can't think of any reason why competitive match ups shouldn't be made.

I totally agree with this point. However to tell someone who simply just asked a question to 'shut the **** up' is childish and immature at best. Which unfortunately seems to be a common trend among most boxing 'fans' these days.

At the end of the day, I'm happy it's made. I'm not a guy who wants to see boxing fights banked on, because at the end of the day, I'm not the promoter nor do I care how much money can be made from the fight. If they're that good and it's destined to be, they'll meet up again in the future when they both advance, this doesn't put a nail in the coffin of a future matchup between the two, and its great to have the fight whether its when a fighter is past their prime or not near it.

I'm much happier with this than the disappointment you receive when a fight like JML/Gamboa gets derailed.

I agree that competitive fights should be made.. but this fight is (as i stated earlier) unknown to the casual fans around the world, fights like these IS good for boxing, but it could have been better if they both had 10 more fights, this would have been much bigger then.. Also the "problem" with boxing isnt that the prospects dont want to face eachother, it is because the superstars duck eachother.... Building and hyping fighters is just a part of boxing....

Forget about what's good for boxing and the casual fans, man. It's done. It's not getting revived on the level it used to be at. It's forever on a downslope.

I already do, I love both sports equally, but I'm not gonna hold out and hope for an injection into boxing that'll bring it back to the heights it was once at. Be happy with what you've got.

This fight was ordered by the BBBoC, Groves is the mandatory challenger for DeGale's British title

I agree that the fight would be better if both guys had had 20+ fights instead of now but its still a big domestic fight with plenty of personal history behind it

Credit the board, the promoters & the fighters for making this fight happen, I cannot wait
