George Groves vs Jamie Cox WBSS Super Middlweight quarter final RBR

Groves was out of order there, surprised the referee wasn't a little stronger in his warning.

Round 2: Cox 10-9 close
Round 3: Groves 10-9

 

good strength by GG, looks abit stronger in the clinch.

These are close rounds, I think 2-1 either way is fine

Cox doing well but Groves is getting very close to landing something very big. He keeps shooting that counter right and Cox needs to be more careful coming in. Groves slowly finding his groove.

 

Cox slowed up in that round.

Cox just eased off on the pace and aggression, not a lot but it is sensible, Cox couldn't maintain that pace all night.
