George Groves vs Jamie Cox WBSS Super Middlweight quarter final RBR

Groves timing was well off in most of that fight, never seen him swing so wildly and miss so many, don't know why he completely abandoned the jab, was almost like ggg brook some of that except for him being backed up so much, but he didn't respect cox in there at all just wanted to make it a street fight.

 

I can admit I was wrong. I thought Cox would catch Groves clean.
But if that Groves shows up against against Eubank, its over even quicker than I thought it would be.

Don't be surprised when Groves pulls out.

 

I have to admit CEJ v Groves does get my juices flowing. Intriguing... He's a big lump Groves tho, doesn't look fazed. Been there & done it.. The Brit SMW awesomeness continues.

 

Agree with nearly all that and i do believe Groves is the better boxer, and i'd strongly fancy (a pre Froch) Groves to decision CEJ. But at this moment i think goin toe to toe with CEJ is just wrong for him.

 

Kind of my initial impression, the way he just threw Cox around like he was a rag-doll twice felt like he was just making his point that he was too big and too strong, albeit a bit of a shitty thing to do!
