    Possibly

Rewatched their fight the other day & some of their fights before & after. I think Kenny has the potential to cause George problems & the single shot power to stop him.

If Kenny loses again he'll have no excuses this time round but he's capable of pulling off an upset imo & I hope he does.

Kenny's a nice guy outside of the ring and I'd be pleased for him if he pulls it off. He has the tools, but sometimes it's just about talent and I think the Saint is more talented.

I dont know, I wasnt hugely keen on Groves not so long ago but was very pleased when he beat DeGale. George can come across as a bit of a smug kid sometimes, I'd rather have a pint with Kenny if that makes sense?

Kenny winning shakes up the domestic SMW scene & sets up a rubber match with George as well as a possible fight with DeGale. I think Kenny has the style & the tools to beat Groves but he'll need to put in a great performance to do so. If his conditioning is good enough to fight at a decent pace for 12 rounds then I think he'll get to George often enough to stop him.

Groves to come with a gameplan that doesn't involve 'slugging with a slugger' and win a decision in a less interesting fight.

I think it'll be a totally different type of fight this time around. Kenny's not a bad boxer, but Groves is better in that respect - and I don't think he'll fall into the same traps as brawling with a brawler this time. I think Groves will win, possibly by a late stoppage. Won't shock me if Kenny knocks him down in the early rounds though.

Some people expecting Groves to do what Bellew did to McKenzie in second fight and box off back foot?.

I think personally Groves would be better centre ring, i think when he backs up onto ropes he puts himself in real danger. You gotta be used to that and enjoy fighting with back to ropes and Groves doesn't do it well. Remember mainly reason it worked against DeGale was DeGale's poor offence and strategy. It's a hard one to say his defence has really improved when in same breath we question the other mans technical flaws and gameplan or lack of it. Against Smith he was hurt with that right at end of round and again it was near ropes.

I said during the first fight, Groves should use shorter steps in his footwork and more angles and lead off. Head to body, pivot and away to a angle. Feint and generally pepper the straight line attacks. If he boxes off backfoot if Kenny hangs in there long enough there will be a spell of danger. Groves lives very close to the edge in fights with low lead and swinging in pocket.

It's intriguing fight that could live up to expectation but also could be a quick nights work or just boring .

    Agreed.

I think Groves camp know he has defensive shortcomings and Anderson will probably land a few right hands. I'm not sure how Groves takes them but if he does, I expect him to wear Anderson down again.

There is also a huge MENTAL edge for Groves in this one because he OUTMANNED Anderson and Anderson knows it.

I watched the first fight the other day and this was the first thing that struck me, he was coming off second best in the early exchanges but still kept on slugging with him. If he can stay on the move and work his jab I think he cruises to an easy victory, that said I hope its not a boring fight cos i'm about to buy tickets!

I heard that Anderson took the fight at something like two weeks notice in the first fight. The guy blew out after like three rounds last time... had that not been the case I think he would have won the fight. Given he is in good condition this time I think he can win however I don't think he will have the shock factor he did last time and Groves wil be ready for him.

No he got lucky... Anderson ran out of steam that was all.
