How do you lot reckon this fight would pan out? Would be a great fight in my opinion and would end in a very close decision in favour of Groves.

I've got groves on points or a late murray stoppage if its the same groves we saw in the jack fight. I think he will improve under mcquigan though.

From the way groves is talking he is looking at fighting average fighters until the end of the year so maybe we could see this fight in the winter for an ibf final eliminator?

It will be interesting to see Groves under McGuigan, I do expect to see a better GG than the one we saw in 2015. That's not a bad shout, would love this to be an eliminator for DeGale

I really don't understand why they would !! I'm thinking back at both George Groves and Martin Murray and cannot remember at any time in any fight where they have quit? The fact they have fought in many World Titles also suggests that they are not useless!!

Maybe you could explain why they would market the fight that way?

On the actual topic, I want to see if George can improve working with Shane or if his own ego means he doesn't listen to anyone. If he can then I think he could well outpoint Martin Murray but if he doesn't I would see Martin win a close points having more in the tank.

groves quit against froch in the first fight , was typical wasn't seriously hurt but acted in trouble until the fight was stopped then started crying

murray quit against ggg, could have easily gone the full 12 just didn't have the heart too

Murray looks sluggish to me now. I thought he looked poor last time out and if Groves can get back to not punching every second like he's a fly weight he'd preserve some power and could stop him late. Just a hunch.

I really think you need to start watching another sport! Groves was still firing back against Froch but looked distressed and Martin Murray could have done no more against GGG.

Murray could have 'easily' gone the 12 rounds with Golovkin? Oh my, Murray was getting absolutely battered, it should have been stopped earlier.
