George Groves: When he be ready for Ward/Bute/Froch

Never. He's not world class.

 

I like him a lot, it's very early for him now though especially in a division this strong.

 

I think his a little easy to hit, but has great heart and has beaten good people thus far and his young, potentially his world class and for anyone to write him off now are just being critical cos his ginger!!

 

A long way to go before he is ready for any of them, if ever. Boxing is game of being in the right place a the right time, whilst being surrounded with the right team. He has potential to get there but i would not throw him in with any of those mentioned for a good 2 years yet. Yes, he got by smith ( great kO too ) but struggled with Anderson in the first fight. Having said that though, I am looking forward to the re-match.

 

Groves would outbox either Dirrell brother, easily. He'd make them look foolish. Lull them into a false sense of security, making them think he's pinned back on the ropes, then he'd get in some good shots to the body and head and Dirrell(s) would feign 'head injury'.

He'd spark most top 10 super-middles, except Ward and maybe Froch. He'll be top 5 by the end of the year, though the likes of Bute and Ward will avoid giving him a shot. Hopefully he beats the Kessler/Stieglitz winner to set up an All England super fight with Froch. The winner of that should then fight Ward.

George Groves is world class and will get his way there.. He's above domestic level and has beaten the european champion.. :huh So how you figure.. :-(

If you don't think the fight was close or debatable then there's nothing else to say.

I don't rate Groves particularly highly and almost think it's only a matter of time until he gets convincingly beaten. World class? Not a chance.
