George Groves: When he be ready for Ward/Bute/Froch

Yeah, I've studied the sport extensively unlike some. While I think Ward beats him, skillspaybills is spot on about Booth being one of the most under-rated trainers in the game, and that just might, maybe give him a chance. I'd like to see him wait a year though.

 

Im only pulling the ****, i agree groves isnt ready for the elite, but he is looking dam good.....:good

This is getting a little too much for me, guys.

Groves is a decent fighter who just edged James DeGale. Just. He isn't beating Froch. He isn't beating Ward.

 

I agree... But potential is there and in time he might get there... Groves has to beat Anderson who is a seriously hard ******* who punch's as hard as any supermiddle weight.... Do you think Anderson is above domestic level?

No. And he hasn't knocked anyone out to suggest he's a world class puncher either.

 

I have seen Anderson a couple of times , jorge gomez fight ringside and trust me he ****ing bangs and when that punch connected it would of taken any man in the division out..:yep

Its really weird everyone was like degale will be like ward in a few years because he has a goodstyle and beat paul smith clearly, he got great credit for it.
Nobody cared about groves who has no olympic medals and was dropped vs anderson.
Only degale cared since he and groves hate each other and groves beat him as a teen.
In the lead up everyone hyped up degale and predicted a ko, he also ripped on groves because of his looks and acted arrogant.
Groves was nicely and direct, degale tried to put on a bet thinking like everyone that he would easily beat groves, george accepted and boxed very well, true it was a close fight that could go either way. Degale being a ***** might have cost him the fight. You could justify the fight for george, one of the sweetest wins.
But degale cried robbery still dissed groves and didnt man up to the bet. After that he ko'd smith who caused all the hupe for degale in 2 and people still act like he sucks and act like degale will go further. George is underrated.

 

I'm 22. I've been to see Froch, Haye, MAB, Khan, and have tickets for Hatton-Brook. :-(
