I'd favor Groves slightly in this one, as he was just KTFO. Otherwise he is much better than Direll, although I respect Anthony a ton for beating cancer. Truly wish him the best

Groves-Dirrell is one of the better SMW fights that can be made right now. I can see the case for either man winning, and that's usually a good sign that the matchmaking's on point.

George Groves would finish Dirrell off within 6 rounds. You need a chin like Frochs to have any chance of beating Groves. because he will outbox you and hurt you.
Dirrell has nothing to trouble Groves, nothing at all.

well im keeping my prediction neutral for the time being until i see how Groves has recovered from the Froch loss as both of those fights may have taken a lot out of Groves, especially the last fight

Assuming Groves is the same fighter we will likely see a very messy affair with Dirrell who shares a lot of traits with his brother as a fighter however its obvious who the more talented of the two is (or was) and I just see Groves being too good for Anthony when it comes into the later rounds where Dirrell will be holding on desperately hoping for a few point deductions or a DQ

Im not overly impressed with Dirrell beating a fading Sakio Bika on a second attempt, George Groves proved more in his two losses to Froch than Dirrells two fights with Bika.

Dont forget Love, Oosthuzien, Rodriguez, Stielglitz and Periban could be thrown in the mix at some point aswell

I think groves just edges this. He shows a bit more than dirrell.

**** Groves, I wanna see him fight Froch. He knocks Groves ass out quicker than Froch. He has good technique with his combos and power to boot. Don't play. Groves is a snack.

Dirrel throws a mean straight right and he is faster than Froch so it could land a lot earlier on the very chinny Groves.
