ESPN's on-screen punch stats after Round 1 had Kambosos with an 8 to 5 connect advantage in the 1st round.

At the beginning of Round 2, however, with the stats for R1 on the screen, Joe Tessitore stated the opposite, that "Haney had an 8 to 5 connect advantage over Kambosos" in the 1st round.

The Compubox numbers released post-fight for Round 1 had Haney landing 12/63 (19%) and Kambosos landing 8/17 (47.1%).

 

Early on in Round 2, Kambosos lands several shots in combination, none of which appeared to be blocked, and Tim Bradley says "great defense by Devin Haney". What?

 

In Round 5 there was apparently a big uppercut landed by Devin Haney. The problem was we couldn't see it due to a bad camera angle when it happened. And we never got a replay of it after the round because of another commercial in between rounds. So we never got to see that uppercut.

 

Watching Tank get taken 6 competitive rounds with a past-it, smaller Leo Santa Cruz before FINALLY knocking him out shocked absolutely nobody with a brain, let alone frighten them.

That's always a good indication to me that no such uppercut was landed, and it was most likely a blocked shot. Especially with the commentary team waxing poetically about the length of Devin Haney's dick.

Yes I get the script when Tank knocks out Loma the excuses will be Loma was to old, he was injured, Tank was the bigger man a weight bully, Loma was past his peak, his mind was on the war etc.

 

I said past-it, not shot, and when you sober up you might recognize the difference. Also, to deny that LSC was significantly smaller than Tank is to deny basic reality. And wtf does Loma have to do with this?

 

I don’t buy the weight bullying BS as suggested by some on this forum. If you fight at a weight and make the weight according to the rules then it’s a fair fight.

 

Nakatani gave Lopez trouble with his jab. Haney would befuddle Lopez with his jab.

 

Add to that, they came back from commercials with 5-8 seconds of the round already passed.

Had Haney winning 12-0 first time round. Had it even wider on the repeat!
