George Kambosos Jnr. vs. Devin Miles Haney & Jason Moloney vs. Aston Palicte RBR.

Obviously Haney is a better boxer than Teofimo Lopez, and it's pretty obvious their styles couldn't be any more different, still... that doesn't make him fun to watch, easy to root for or likeable. Nor does it give one a sense of pride when watching him. Yeah, yeah, yeah... skills. Well I'm not a boxer, I'm a fan. And most fans don't appreciate being bored out of their skulls. I gave him credit when I scored the match for him. But I'm not going to lavish praise on a fighter outpointing.another in boring fashion. It's the same reason when people have an alternative option, they don't vote for boring politicians.

Haney's going to have issues with a pressure fighter who cuts off the ring well, and is willing to walk through punches to land one, also he seems quite fragile. JoJo took a few rounds off of him and hurt him a time or two. He's far from unbeatable. Also... Loma feasts on guy's like Haney.

Trout is arguably just as slick as Lara. Lara just had his number, due to his reach advantage and his unwillingness to force the fight, making Trout take the lead, and be the aggressor.

 

Of course it is. But that's also far more entertaining and memorable. It leaves a long lasting impression and makes you fans, it also makes the audience feel. They don't watch boxing because they want to be put into a coma from boredom, it's the precise reason why most boxing fans aren't golf fans. The only ones who are entertained by crap like last night are the purists, and the elitist snobs. Of course, if I'm in the right mood, I can appreciate the sweet science. But it is excruciating when it's a big fight feel and it's an event. Everyone is all pumped up, adrenaline flowing and it ends up being a joykiller. People who like boxing, like combat sports, tend to have a bit of a bloodlust, they love watching something that brings out the passion. So it would be nice if occasionally, guys like Haney could use this superior skill set of his to press the action, and go for a KO. After all, as Loma, Leonard, Toney, GGG and Usyk have proven time and again, fighters can be just as slick on the front foot and press the action. If a fighter's skill set is that advanced, then they should be able to fight just as effectively coming forward as they do going backward.

Genaro might call me a fool, many would agree with him, but plenty of fighters would also agree with me. But it doesn't really matter, because that's their opinion, and I never let someone's opinion of me affect me in the least.
