I think the promoters and networks invest in these guys and have plans for a return on their investment, then do everything they can to get their investment over the hump. This time it was way too obvious.

It's very obvious even to the most casual of observers and boxing fans that Kambozo's win over Lopez was a one time fluke.

It certainly should be, but there are many who will hang it over his head unless he rectifies it.

I disagree. Explain to me Sandor Martin. George is a moron when it comes to fighting slick fighters, however... Teofimo is also a moron when it comes to fighting slick fighters. George fancies himself as some badass Spartan warrior, who's awesome on the front foot. Yet the only time he's looked great is when he's playing the role of the counter puncher. He looked decent against Lee Selby and Lopez, because both of them took the lead. He looked terrible against Mickey Bey, Haney and Hughes, because they forced him to take the lead. Lopez however, while a bit better on the front foot than George, that tends to only apply to fighters that are willing to mix it up with him like Taylor and Lomachenko. If they have quick reflexes, are ultra elusive and refuse to mix it up like Sandor and George, Lopez is reduced to looking like as big a one-dimensional idiot as Kambosos. Now, would Lopez box smarter the second time around and possibly KO him? Sure, it's a distinct possibility. He almost did it the first time, but the vast majority of the first match even when he was trying to outthink George, he couldn't adjust properly.

As much as I love George this is a pretty good analysis. ESPN matchmakers are the ones who ****ed up here. If they wanted Kambosos to look good they should’ve matched him with somebody more aggressive and willing to engage in a who’s got the bigger balls contest. Jermaine Ortiz would’ve made for a more exciting fight or Richard Commey.

After 6 rounds I had to mute the commentary. Tim Bradley talks way too much and influences the viewer...

Honestly these chatty comms do more harm than good, see what a judge sees not what ESPN journalist sees...

Had it 115-113 Hughes. Could have easily given George another round in the last half of the fight. I dont think it is as controversial as has been indicated. Hughes did FK all after round 6.

After I muted ESPN journalism it became much easier to concentrate and be impartial.

Well we can agree on one thing....Lopez is a moron. Ok two things...Kambozo looks bad vs counterpunchers.

    Fully agree, mate

Similar to 'For A Few Dollars More', it's just one great scene after another.

    Absolute timeless classics.

Any youngsters who haven't yet seen them all are in for a treat, for sure

All three were great, in general Clint Eastwood made classics.
