How do you see Kambo dealing with the other lightweights such as Haney, Commey, and Loma?

    What's his future?

His future is still undecisive. Is he the best at 135? No, but he has the will to show that he is. That counts for something. I think hes a throwback fighter with alot of heart, i will say that about him.

I think tentatively putting him at the top of the lightweight division makes sense since he just beat one of the guys many thought to be the top lightweight. But agreed, we need to see how he continues to fare against top competition.

To be fair to GKJ, I think the rest of the 135 lbers need to fight each other as well.

He’s easy to underrate but I’m a fan. I think Loma beats him and hope to see the fight. George vs Haney is a good one too but Haney is still developing. Let’s see how the top LW’s do in ther next fight and who George decides to fight in his first defense. Getting the belts can make a weak minded fighter unravel (Teo) but it can also make a guy step up and improve as a fighter. Having the belts can also help a fighter win close decisions in the eyes of judges as we have seen. George has a chin so his next fights might be decided by judges. If he fights in Aussie Land that could be a problem for his opponent.

I’m not predicting anything, just enjoying the ride and wishing George success. Good guy, underrated fighter.

He’s at the same level as everyone else. All good fights that he can win.

He is good, that it for now.

I want to see him vs Loma next to see just how good he can get from this point.

I don't see him beating Loma. I think he would have beaten Haney if he had fought him instead of Teo but that was the performance of a lifetime and I don't know if he can replicate it.

I think Commey could be a stylistic challenge for him more than he he was for Teo.

Personally I think Kambosos could stop Loma especially now.

Agreed! He beat the man that beat the man so to speak. Give him his props! By the way, I picked Lopez by KO. Perhaps I should take up another sport. LOL

Kambosos is a real dog. Worthy of the nickname Ferocious. That kinda heart plus above average skills can take a guy far.

I'd favor him over Haney, Garcia, and Tank.

    Lomachenko beats him.

I saw someone else in a different thread say that Kambosos is easy to underrate, and I agree. It's because he's not flashy or anything like the other lightweights. But I'd say he stands a chance against any of the top dudes, even Lomachenko who as we've seen is vulnerable to fighting scared.
Kambosos has probably never fought scared in his life.

Pure will and belief can do a lot for you. We have already seen Lona stumble when fighting some uncomfortable opponents, and Kambosos can be a spoiler that he himself has good movement and can counter Loma trying to leap in with. Does he beat Loma? Big ask and remains to be seen, but could happen. He also has some faults such as refusing to put his left hand up no matter what but still I think he'd be tough for anyone in the division.

Think he beats Commey without any real problems. I think he could beat Garcia and Haney if the fights went deep, his hunger, will and experience could get to those two, reckon he would be behind on the cards at some point in those fights. I absolutely do not see him beating Loma or Tank. I think he could be a huge star for an extended period of time though because he's good value in and out of the ring. He could also get picked up by the broadcasters, reckon he would be a great on air personality.
