At last someone has written a bit of sense on the whole disturbing tragedy of Valero's family and how it reflects on the boxing establishment.

I am sick reading all this crap about Valero's loss to boxing. The only loss he is to boxing are to the whoremasters in the game who were making money off his back. Shower of *******s the whole lot of them.

Can't see it without a subscription, mate. Hopefully it'll appear on TSS. Kimball's a bloody good writer.

When I clicked through that link I got the login screen as well, but had no problem when I found it through the website.

Try just going to www.irishtimes.com, then go to Sport, scroll down to Other Sports and you'll see George Kimball: America at Large.

It's a good piece - it says as much about the lack of care as anything about Valero.
