Anyone follow Monk? How long until we see him on FNF or an undercard somewhere? I hope he can make some waves eventually.

Who knows about FNF. I seen him a few times as he had a gym not too far from where I'm at. He's a big man just like his dad and he does have power, he wants to fight apparently. "Big" George is watching him and I think they'll take it slow.

He looks slow so far. But his dad showed us how far a guy can go with a granite chin and one helluva PUNCH!

meh, he has some power but his skills are **** which is to be expected from a guy with all of 12 fights in his life(no amateur background). Honestly I would expect them to line up another 8 cans and then put on either a PPV, HBO, or Showtime fight with him fighting Deontay Wilder for the WBC silver belt or something as the big cash out fight.

The obvious template to follow here is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, so I'm guessing it'll be another dozen (or two) before we start seeing him on FNF, BAD, or anything like that.

Love heavyweights. Saw Monk fight twice. He looked pretty bad. BUT, he is George Foreman's son, so will probably be move like Chavez Jr. and will maybe get a big padded record and learn to fight (like Chavez Jr.) in the process. Don't expect big risks from Monk until he is 35-0. OR, seeing how he has already been dropped by low quality guys, he might just retire early.
