George Peterson has got to be the worst trainer in the game today

    Peterson's whole idea of the fight game is to throw as many punches as possible & hope something happens. He stumbled on to a gifted athlete in Paul Williams who has actually made this style work. It's unfortunate for Williams though. 10 years from now, he won't be able to complete a sentence from all those heads shots. This is who he is, so im not even sure if there is any point in a new trainer anymore. He'll get ko'd eventually. You can only go so long with no defense

    you have the chance to mold a guy since the beginning of his career & you mold him into a fighter that blocks punches with his chin.

    Remember after Hopkins beat Pavlik? Peterson said Team Williams would have dominated him the same exact way. Really? Your guy fights nothing like Hopkins. Disgusting how much **** this man talks. Williams might as well be his own trainer & save himself the money

    Jack Loew, his entire fight plan is: Double the ****ing jab. The man couldn't strategize his way out of a wet paper bag.

    Please tell us your experience so we can judge your ability to assess coaches. Paul completely ignored Peterson's advice in the Martinez fight. I had a lot of fun with the "man up on dem punches" line, but if you think about it, that would have cured MOST of what Paul was doing wrong in that fight. Simple sounding line, but go watch the fight and see what the difference would have been.

    Get the Lyell/Duddy fight. You can hear Jack through out. The announcers were almost in his corner. Not once did he say 'double jab'. You guys that keep repeating this are very one dimensional posters and exhibit way less boxing knowledge than I have. Good to have you around, keeps me from being on the bottom of the stack. :yep

    I'm not saying everyone needs to be a Whitaker in there, but ****. the game is to hit & not get hit. Low level trainers like Peterson & Lowe have no business in boxing and are bad for the sport. They get these guys when they are very young & give no thought to the fact that these guys will have lives after boxing. They become loyal to these trainers & when their career is over & they're stumbling over words, they finally realize everything they learned was bull****. Peterson - Hey Paul, don't fight tall & don't block punches. Just throw alot of punches & let's hope you knock him out.

    Actually trained with then in DC they train they ass off and really just train to throw punches
