I hate that guy. He kept saying things like "they have never seen anything like you" during the diaz fight when Kat was losing easily. He said some bull**** like "one judge got it right" after the fight too. still don't know why that fight was a SD

Again, tell us your back ground so we can assess your ability to judge them as trainers because so far, you seem to be doing a **** poor job of it.

Paul needs a better class of trainer, I just hope he doesn't have to lose again before he makes the switch.

Peterson is just fine. Paul has only lost one fight in 40.

While Paul isn't the most technically precise fighter, he has phenomenal stamina. We can all criticize a fighter and his corner all day, but until we actually know what a fighter and his trainer have been through, we can never judge what he should do.

Nah. These guys are all experts. They've laced up a keyboard and mouse more times than you can count.

Oh here we go with the, "you've never done it, so you can't talk" defense. The fact is Peterson has neglected to teach or emphasize defense with Paul. Using your face to catch punches is a terrible defense, even if his chin can take it, teaching Paul to give up his height by crouching down and leaning forward is terrible, why teach him to give up his advantages? Paul's footwork didn't start to improve until Verno Phillips, why did it take so long? He needs a better trainer, if he wants to continue to be a pressure fighter, I think Ronnie Shields would be excellent for him. If he wants to become more technical, Bro Nazeem and Steward would be great.

Talk about ****. Did you even listen to the small snippets we get to hear on TV? If you did you clearly didn't comprehend what he was saying. This has been discussed. Even in this thread FFS.

theres a few trainers i don't rate. i don't rate pavlik's trainer even though he done good with his fighter winning a world title with such limited ability.

the one trainer i don't rate at all is buddy mcgirt. when one of his fighters step in the ring, then you know he's going to pull them out.

another trainer i rating less and less is money hunting, glory hunting *******, emanuel steward.

i could post some more trainers that i just don't rate.

He's 38-1. He's beaten everyone he's faced. He's beaten Sergio Martinez, Winky Wright, and Antonio Margarito, among others. He's exciting as hell and never backs down.

Jesus Christ, what the **** is there to complain about? Paul is great. Accept it.

Yeah but think how much better he would be if he was actually a technical boxer, who could in fight if he had to, instead of the 1 dimensional come forward pressure fighter he is today. Hell it wouldn't be bad now if he actually had better defense.

If he was a technical boxer, sure he would be better.... But he's not. You can also look at it like this, Peterson, despite some of the things Paul may not do as well, has helped make him into a P4P fighter who is a nightmare for anyone in his division.

And that doesn't just happen because someone is a great athlete.
