George Peterson has got to be the worst trainer in the game today

I agree when I heard Petersen tell Kellerman that Lara kept running, I thought it was absolutely pathetic.

 

It is hard to leave someone who you look to as a father figure, especially when that father figure is an ******* who probably plays off how he guided your life to a better place and why you should stick with him.

I have no doubt Peterson knows he is out of his ****ing depth but because he cares so little about Paul but more about what he can get off of "training" Paul that he didn't let Paul go to someone who could teach him how to be better.

 

but at what point does it fall on the fighter to learn defense and etc

after all he's (Paul )the one in there getting punched ... why doesn't he smarten up and defend himself? IMO it's way to easy to put all the blame on the trainer.

He got raped tonight by a guy with only 15 fights, If Lara was a puncher he would've knocked him out. Why the **** is the guy with 5 inch height advantage recklessly rushing in?

 

Williams is little 'simple'. And he is getting exploited theb**** out by George Peterson who is making money while handicapping the kid in the process. That was borderline criminal... And allthe while posing as a "father figure", while having no clue as to how to avoid serious long term injury to his fighter just so he can syill get paid. Sickens meto my stomach.

gets a southpaw who mimics martinez right after the ko heard round the world and literally implements no defense/answer for it whatsoever, i mean come on here, you dont have to change pauls style but at least practice something, some type of contingency plan just in case he starts getting tagged with that "lucky punch" again.

I think thats what really made this fight so sad to watch.

 

Paul should retire since he doesn't plan to improve anything. No one deserves to get KO'd the way he did more than once.

I wanted Paul to put in 2-3 fights after the Lara fight before retiring, but **** it. I want him to retire now. If Lara wasn't practically two divisions smaller in the ring tonight, he'd have left Williams in the hospital in a coma. I'm pissed about the robbery but I still like Paul, I don't want to see him get really ****ed up. Dude needs to retire now before something seriously wrong happens, and the way he gets hit, it's going to sooner rather than later.
