He got laced with an absolute pearler of a right hand from Froch that would have dropped a horse.

 

@ Groves having a poor chin, the punch Froch put him down with was 1 you land out of 1000 tries, add to that Grove's chin was left so open it was practically sticking out with a "shatter me" sign taped to it

People are too eager to defend Groves chin. Fair enough, it was an absolute peach of a punch by Frochs standards, but while he carries good power it is more clubbing than explosive. Ironically, in the build up to the first fight Groves picked up on this and was winding him up saying "Where's this one punch knockout power? Who have you ever knocked out in one punch?". He is kind of right though, Bute took an absolute pasting and was not floored. So yes, I would say Groves has a weak chin compared to other Super Middles. He also has conditioning issues which will contribute to a lack of durability.

 

This is a really good proper fight. Not sure who I would pick.

 

So Groves gets a fight in Vegas before Froch, bet he loves that
