This is a matchup that is supposed to happen in June. The biggest stepup in his career for George Tahdooahnippah. I think that Guerro should outclass George Tahdooahnippah. It will be an interesting fight to see. We shall see who's 0 will go.

Interesting. Comanche Boy is a lot bigger than Guerrero, but my understanding is that he's always been more of a local draw than a real prospect.

Guerro won the Middleweight NABF crown and Tahdooahnippah weighed in 160 for his last fight a six round win against a Kickboxing Champ and MMA fighter making his debut as a pro boxer.

This fight will show if he is a real deal or someone who has a padded record against C, D and F class fighters.

There aren't too many high-profile Native American boxers (or too many, period); it will be interesting to see what Tahdooahnippah brings with his first step up in class being a VERY big one. :think

Grady Brewer helps train "Commanche Boy," so we know he has had the opportunity to pick up on some fairly refined skills.

    Interesting.

Has Grady made the full leap from boxer to trainer (or co-trainer), then?

It's been over a year since the loss to Lara.

Given all the names and styles he faced, and the fact that he still seemed to be a sharp tack pushing 40 in the twilight of his career...I could see him making a really good coach.

Oh yeah, Shawn Hawk. He headlined Friday Night Fights a couple years back, against Matt Godfrey. He didn't look all that bad, just too inexperienced to deal with someone using such a negative style as Godfrey's.

Apparently he's still somewhat in the mix, having picked up wins over Donnell Wiggins and Rubin Williams since then. :think

Never heard from Tadoo... What ever. His Record looks good, the Youtube Videos too. He is much bigger than Guerrero, and both are brawlers. I tink, thats entertaining.

He could make a good fringe contender. He might have improved with more experience since his fight with Godfrey, and he definetely has some power. Havent seen a whole lot of him besides the Godfrey fight though, with the exception of one of his fights on youtube.

Yeah. Based on the very, very little footage available - he doesn't seem totally unskilled, but is definitely giving up a lot of speed and athleticism to FG.

He does seem to have a bit of pop, though. That could spell trouble for Guerrero, if it turns out to be real.

It will be interesting to see if he steps back up to that FNF/Godfrey level again. Maybe not an exact rematch, though - that wasn't a great fight in terms of style clash.
