Georges Ory vs. Josh Wale RBR

Round 3

Wale is drum-rolling combos off the side of the head up close. Ory is turning orthodox and floating a jab to create space, then slashing down with his left hand from outside after switching back to southpaw. Wale is picking off left & right jabs as Ory frantically switching his stance on the outside, using whichever mitt corresponds, then opening up with his own reach-in combos which Ory mostly ducks. Ory tries a right hook up top and is brushes against the back of Wale's neck as he dips his head forward. Right hand by Wale connects as Ory is off-balance spreading his legs wide and floating out a left jab while turning. Wale is headhunting but largely missing as Ory twists down into him.

Round 4

Wale is standing in the pocket and missing short right hands over the neck of the bent-forward Ory. Both men are landing sloppy body shots (mostly straight pokes) on the way in and out before grinding together in the middle of the ring. Ory is landing rabbit punches with the left while stepping counterclockwise around Wale and feinting with a high right jab. Wale is pushing right hands into the chest and throwing some hooking salvos below the ears but not getting through with more than a couple of flush shots at once, and Ory is rolling with them.

Round 5

Wale is just wading in, now, hacking down with right hands but missing or scrubbing Ory's throat and clavicle with them. Ory is stepping in, popping off shoeshine flurries and then ducking and somersaulting out the side door. Wale is looking very haggard and unmotivated, turning southpaw himself and batting at Ory disinterestedly with a few perfunctory right jabs. Ory all business, in and out, stinging like a little gnat.

Round 6

Wale is having a hard time pinning Ory down, getting turned and peppered with light punches by the shorter & less vigorous but more spry & laterally mobile fighter. Ory clubbing left hands against the back & side of Wale's neck while turning him, using the right jab as window-dressing and then skipping all the way into the corner or against the ropes. Wale chases him down and tries some body shots but can't stuff them in there properly.

10-9 Ory...speculatively. The whole feed dropped out again for me with thirty seconds left, and when it picked up just before the bell for the seventh it showed Ory's wife holding a hand to her mouth and looking concerned...so maybe he got dropped? In which case 10-8 Wale/59-54 Wale

Missed the whole seventh. RMC4 is super annoying to watch.

 

Try on mobile phone if you can, guys. Seems way more stable (and less persistent about the incessant multiple-minute long ads) than on Chrome for some reason.

 

Wale just edged the ninth, mouth-breathing and swinging laboriously but still whacking the body, keeping the pressure on and pinning Ory in the corners, ignoring his flurries.

Rounds 7 & 8 = ???

 

Round 10

Wale works a looping right on the front foot, marching Ory across the ring. Ory up on his toes, bounding away, hands low, throwing high light kneading flurries or stepping aside with a pair of blooming uppercuts from the hip line, just for show, not attempting to seriously reach Wale's chin with them. Wale cracking him with some big right hands dropped over the top even as Ory does his best to skip ahead of him. Ory spending lots of time in the orthodox stance, jabbing and keeping Wale too busy with blocking to attack. Ory tying up, lots of spoiling tactics. When he is allowed time and room to punch, Wale is doing some damage.

Yeah this is 100% the way to go, zero problems on my Pixel so far. Nice & clear, no interruptions.

 

Round 11

Wale is trading left jabs with Ory, who remains orthodox. Wale drilling him with some right hands from outside even as Ory ducks and comes up with flurries like a French chef julienning vegetables. Wale is picking off all of the best stuff Ory can muster, or just eating it willingly, continuing to give him no respect and lining up big right hands at mid-range, or shoeshining & flapping in rapid alternating hooks himself on the inside. Both men falling short with their jabs but Wale landing the only significant power blows to head and body.
