Round 12 Wale is ripping shots into the head, pushing for a KO. Desperate backfoot right hook and high-lobbed left combos from Ory, who is quite tired himself. Wale muscles his way in and gets tied up. VERY long clinch, neither willing to let go. Ref has to spatula them apart. Ory throwing southpaw combos now, jab & overhand left, dropping anchor to punch and then hot-footing outta there. Wale is leading with BIG left hooks jumping in, falling on top of a bowed-over Ory against the ropes. Lots of ducking & covering by Ory, barely able to evade anymore, legs unwilling to answer the call. Clinching when he can as Wale keeps dumping leather on him. 10-9 Wale
Apparently she just moved closer and she apparently has three lovely children with Georges. The dream is dead IB
Somehow the Ory family seems to believe he might still get the nod, chanting their support for him with hopeful expressions. The wife looks about ready to cry, staring preoccupied at the ring with a toddler girl dangling from one arm like a sack of potatoes.
Wale said he spars with Middleweights regularly and is 5'7. Probably walks around at 140 or so. Not quite a manlet
Even if he didn't in fact get dropped in the 6th (which I thought looked en route to being 10-9 Ory) and then continued to sweep a few in a row by taking rounds 7 & 8...that still puts Ory down 116-112 on my card, with very little budge room as far as "close" Wale rounds.
