    Gerald Hayes fought Lupe Pintor, Bobby Chacon, Derrik Holmes, Rocky Lockridge, Alexis Arguello, Bashew Sibaca, Jorge Alvarado, Bernard Taylor, James Busceme, Freddie Pendleton, Marcos Villasana, Juan Laporte, Eusebio Pedroza and Richard Savage!

    Not only that, but he beat Pendleton and Laporte and dropped Pedroza in round three!

    There are 8 world champions and 4 hall of famers in that list! Like, holy cow!

    A true pro’s pro who was only stopped twice in 50 pro bouts (against that level of opposition) — one early in his career vs Ralph Racine and later in the final round of a scheduled 10 vs Eusebio Pedroza.

    Tricky guy who was going to make you work for it and probably have to solve some mental puzzles to figure out an effective way to approach him.

    Bonus points to @AntonioMartin1 for spelling Derrik Holmes’ name right! (They fought to a draw, btw.)
