How about you donate to a cause who's main beneficiaries aren't complete human excrement? And whats he going to do with the money, hire someone to wipe his dribble?

Personally I value human life more than dogs. Any of you hypocrites who have enjoyed his fights should at least have sympathy for his situation even if you don't want to donate. **** we've all made mistakes, plus we'll never know for sure how true the stories are. Get a grip.

  4. :lol:i hear ya, Mcclean was a sick, sadistic ****..

I logged on and donated a cabbage, so at least he's got something to talk to :yep

All you ****s that talk about him laying his life on the line to give fans good fights are talking bollocks. He boxed for money, same as every other fighter - and he was a sadistic piece of ****, and still would be if he wasn't ****ed up. Imagine the amount of innocent animals that have been saved over the years by this wanker being crippled. Seems fair enough to me.

I was a huge fan until I heard about the dog fighting years ago. I mean, that didn't make me hate him all of a sudden. Just made it harder to like him. But we all make mistakes. Hope for the best.

I don't have a problem with people saying he was an exciting fighter to watch and understand why people were fans of him as a fighter. I do have a problem with people bitching about him not deserving to end up the way he did and also whining about the referee in the Benn fight. Benn was a better fighter than McClellan, which is why he won.

Absolute nonsense. Benn beat McClellan with hard punches, the referee had NOTHING to do with the outcome. Eubank and Watson were both better than Benn too, God only knows how badly they'd have beaten McClellan.

I dont agree with the dog fighting either, but the man is disabled through boxing and the main thing is boxing has forgotten about mclellan. The likes of Don King should hang their heads in shame. At the end of the day we are all human and make mistakes. Nigel Benn was a warrior, and whatever you say about the referee, he just refused to lose that night. Mclellan had never fought anyone as tough as benn, no one with the heart and fire that nigel benn had.

its only now that Benn has retired that people really appreciate the fighter he was.

I agree that the sport should pay for his care, and that Don King is a piece of human garbage just like McClellan.

You're right about the referee too, he had zero impact on the outcome of that fight, Benn would have won whoever the referee was.

Some of the comments from McClellans family afterwards were ****ing disgraceful too, but what do you expect, he was scum so it stands to reason his relatives would be.

I cant agree with that. Eubank and watson were not better than benn, watson fought a cagey fight and benn punched himself out, and Benn def won the re-match with eubank but got robbed with a draw. I think mclellan would have dismantled watson and eubank, Like i said it was that benn was so fired up just refused to lie down was the reason he beat mclellan. Also we have to remember, that mclellan's brain was probably bleeding from the midway point of the fight, he was def injured a while before he quit in the 10th round. Who knows what would have happened if he wasnt injured.

I just think that night, nigel was losing to nobody.

Benn didn't punch himself out against Watson, he just kept getting tagged by vicious counters - Watson is still in a terrible state from that Eubank fight and he is definately a man that doesn't deserve it (unlike McClellan) Michael Watson was a fantastic fighter as his fight with Benn proved, 2 wars with Eubank and a close fight with McCallum straight after that fight.

Don't even get me started on Eubank - he was the worst nightmare for a guy like McClellan, Eubank had one of the best chins I've ever seen, the ****er wasn't human. Eubank would have absolutely taken McClellan apart with hard counters. It's crap to say that Benn won the 2nd Eubank fight too, I had it 115-113 Eubank but it could have gone either way. One thing is sure, Eubank could only have lost to McClellan by KO and judging from the way Eubank reacted to big punches his whole career, that wasn't going to happen.

Ive always said in regards to this that karmas a *****. I know Dogs arent humans but does it really make a damn difference. Anyone who tortures a living thing like that especially alot of them is disgusting and deserves to be tourtured himself. Im not saying it makes me smile or I get off on McClellans health but he asked for it.
