Gerald McClellan in massive money trouble

McClellan did some terrible things, but I still find it sad to see his condition.

I do find the intense hatred he gets a little extreme as opposed to other fighters who did awful things. No one celebrated when Michael Dokes died, and I doubt people will be saying "oh good, serves him right" when Jake LaMotta passes away. Gatti and Corrales did some awful things, even if maybe not on the level of G-Man. Say things bad about them and people go nuts.

But it seems McClellan is the only one who gets this type of response, people seeming to be happy in how he suffers. In all my years of posting on boxing forum, I think I have only read one post of anyone saying karma got to Carlos Monzon, while there is way too many to count for those type of comments for g-man.

 

Yeah I have a lot of sympathy for him just a really terrible state i mean he couldnt a had a worse end to life really , waking up after the fight being told he quit an he lost then losing half his sense, dificult thing to wish on anyone never mind revel in it,
A lot a people are always really sore on someone who hurts animals but then kind of unhumane to people themselves.
He seems a really strange guy though the way he loved his dog an that but killed it then, did anyone read that book about the fight ?would be interested if it's worth a look

 

The man was an inhumane monster who tortured animals for his amusement. Suddenly life fights back and he winds up a physical shell, abandoned by his enablers and a burdeon to his family and soceity.

I have no empathy for such a person.

 

Yeah Mcellan seemed a really cold person, I'm still not quite sure what to make of him, he seemed to feel like he was a pitbull and he loved his dog. Did anyone hear the story when his dog was finally losing and he stopped the fight crying all the way and nursing it but then when they got home he shot it

 

You piece of ****. That fight was rife with incompetence and corruption. Gman knocked him out in round 1. Benn did his damage with headbutts and rabbit punches.

 

Perhaps the dog was so badly hurt the humane thing to do was to put it down?

Sometimes dog fights are so vicious, it's hard to see an animal recovering from its injuries.
