Gerald McClellan v Georges Carpentier

    McClellan is still the best puncher pound-for-pound I've seen in my time following boxing. Carpentier would get banged out quickly.

    And if you had passed the 3rd grade you might be able to execute the proper form of "fit" in a sentence.

    language has two purposes, communication and snobbery, i am only interested in the first.

    I didn't go school in america, so i haven't even passed kindergarden.

    Precision of language is precision of communication and translates to more precise meaning... but I was just fukking with you anyway... this is goddamned boxing board.

    I have always been (a bit) fond of Carpentier and hated McClellan, but I honestly think that the dogkiller would have bombed out Carpentier without problems. Carpentiers defensive skills and speed only worked against slow heavyweights.

    I'd lean towards McClellan stopping Carp.
