Jeffries was on average 220 pounds for this title fights. You cut out the higher weight to suit you agenda, which hasn't changed in 3 bans. It's clear you're back to troll. Jeffries was Munroe ( 224 ), Finnegan ( 240 ) and Johnson ( 227 ) He was 219 for Fitz 2, and 218 for Ruhlin 2, and 218 for Corbett 1. His weight for the first Fitz fight is highly questionable.
People who voted for Jeffries loss by KO have to be trolling here... What makes any of you believe that Jeffries could be stopped by a guy significantly smaller than him? He was never, ever knocked down in fight, let alone stopped.
I voted for Jeffries ,and I think he wins by mid or late rounds stoppage. Whilst posting here I'd like to add that Jeffries did not weigh in for his fights with Munroe,Kennedy, Finnegan, or Griffin, apologies for including this here, but I don't wish to interact with a particular person. ps Jeffries was knocked down in his come back fight but of course you knew that, just as you probably know Corbett dropped him in sparring which means nothing, but is interesting as a tid bit imo. This is in Pollack's bio of Jeffries , along with Jeffries, Corbett's, Delaney's, and boxing editor WW Naughton's comments on it.
I've often heard that Gerald McClellan was "about 180 pounds" or whatever, in the ring. But I find that very very hard to believe. The fact is, in his fight with Nigel Benn, where the limit was 168, he came in at 165, three pounds lighter than Benn. If he was so huge why drain himself down 3 extra pounds ?? In non-title 'middleweight' fights in the past McClellan had generally weighed just a few pounds over 160, and the heaviest he ever weighed was 170 in a rather meaningless fight and I have no idea what condition he was at that weight in that fight. He might have hit hard like a 180, 185 pounder but I doubt he was ever much more than 168 or 169 in the ring in any fight, and probably often a bit less than that.
