I'd have to give him a shot based on his fast starts, speed and what happened against Nunn

Id take Mclellan by decision. Hopkins didnt do too well with punchers and Mclellan would keep Hopkins reeling.

    I'll take Hopkins.

He's quite a bit more skilled. G-Man had a ways to go before he met tragedy. Way too wild and often off the mark.

I think McClellan was a tremendous puncher, but as a technician, I'd argue the Tito that Hopkins beat was just as good.

McClellan to me is more potential than actual. He always looked like a potentially great fighter to me, never a great fighter.

A guy like Hopkins isn't getting sparked by anybody, and McClellan wasn't good enough yet to avoid getting outboxed and thrashed by Benn after a fast start.

I think there might be a Gerald we didn't see who could win this fight, but I would pick the Hopkins that fought Tito, or if you want to go forward, Eastman, to beat any McClellan I ever saw actually fight.
