Lets get GGG in a more competitive matchup. Gerald seems to be the flavor of the month and despite not being overly proven he seems to sit high in the minds of some. He certainly has serious power. GGG despite being around forever is also unproven vs top tier opposition. He's shown impressive consistency and dedication however albeit against less than amazing opposition. He also hits quite hard and takes a good punch. He has however never taken a punch like Gerald's.

    Also - who hits harder?

    What say thou?

I am attempting to cover both questions in the poll by allowing two choices which should be pretty simple to comprehend for the average punter i hope. One vote is for power and the other is for who wins.

    No vote no bo peep.

While i am changing things up the poll will also end in 3 weeks time so we have a forever snapshot of what our current community is down with.

Given we had an accidental vote in my recent thread i am allowing voters to change votes. This will also allow for peeps not initially understanding they are voting on two topics.

Structure wise I have Gerald at the top of the poll in who wins and GGG at the top of the poll in power in case anyone is unhappy with either being top in both categories.

Hopefully the dynamic plays out as well as it does in my mind lol

This fight genuinely intrigues me as a lot of people see both as somewhat unproven both power wise and ability wise against truly top tier opposition.

GGG's jab, chin, and more disciplined guard get him a decision. McClellan hit harder though.

Don’t think Gman has GGGs other worldly chin. GGG stops him late.
As far as power I honestly see them even, if I had to give, it would be a slight edge to GGG.

I think McClellan’s chin was just as impressive as his power, personally. He ate flush bombs from Jackson time and again before taking him out in their first fight. Got rattled once or twice, but I’ve never seen anyone else take those kinda shots better from the Hawk.

    I’d favor Golovkin, too, though.

GMAN looked like a light heavy come fight night. He had more power. He'd beat GGG.

I think McCellen's wins over Jackson not quite what they seem. Granted he was a spectator performer. Some questions remain. How good was he really?
Julian was starting to fade. He wasnt a great Middleweight. 154 was his true stomping ground. Don King was cashing him out. Jackson had eye problems as well. Thomas Tate put him down on his way to a disputed draw previously. The same Tate that Roy Jones sparked in 1.
Anyway. I think Golovkin showed us more. He was unfairly avoided until he was 35? 36? He lost something off his fastball. IMO he still hasnt been beaten.
I think he takes GMan into the mid rounds and takes him out.

The Spectacular Performer doesn't always beat the steady, strong as an ox, consistent fighter.
I think GGG had an edge in power as well but its marginal. They both could crack.

I agree with what’s been said, GGG’s steady solid approach and granite chin wins the day here.
I see it being close the first half but Golovkin pulling away with his steady pressure the second half.
There’s a possibility of a late stoppage but I see the fading GMan making the final bell.
The power vote just goes to McClellan.

I'm pretty sure a couple will be voting for the ripped 235lb version.
