That was not an excuse, Benn rightly got kudos for the DeWitt and Barkley wins. I was just saying the Barkley fight goes in the record books as Benn TKO1 Barkley, but that does not tell the whole story; as the fighters were still fairly evenly matched, even after the Benn win. We Brits have to be a little pragmatic here. Four times out of five our next big thing fighting a named septic would be proven to be an awful flop. It was just every now again we had a legitimately brilliant performance by one of our fighters. So I can see if you were a septic, you would be cynical.
