And me. Of course a McClellan KO is far from out of the question but i think Watson would do a Benn job on McClellan.

Pavlik actually did really well against guys who were there to trade with him.

    Yeah, Taylor and Miranda.

Taylor and Miranda were not McClellan.

Kelly Pavlik was really great to watch. Elbows in. High guard. Big punch. He had an Arguello vibe about him for a moment there. And then he just wasn't. Almost overnight. It was weird. Maybe one too many fights in parking lots after closing time we didn't hear about.

It's not exactly a mystery, Dubble.

The guy was a drunk. That was the reason for his rapid decline.

Taylor was more of runner really, and his career panned out every bit as good as McClellan's.

I'm talking more about Pavlik almost killing Miranda and Zertuche, and beating up Rubio. They weren't in McClellan's league, but McClellan never beat a big, strong middleweight in Pavlik's league either; Jackson was more of a blown up 154.

Yeah, but even a blown up Jackson would murder Miranda, Zertuche and Rubio.

Can't disagree. But Pavlik was way more durable than Jackson.

Kelly was a tough guy, but the closest he fought in style to McClellan was Taylor - who would have finished him if he wasn't THE WORST finisher that ever lived.

Kelly could win a war of attrition, but his lack of defense is not good news here. The odds of McClellan blasting Pavlik out early-to-mid are greater than the odds of Pavlik wearing McClellan down.
