Nigel Benn, British Boxing and ITV raised 100 grand for the guy..... Even after his family blamed Benn for what happened, saying they wanted him dead and that they want all his money. Classy :nono

 

If it's really true that he deliberately bought a defenceless dog and then tied it up so his pitbulls could kill it then that's some really sick **** and definitely karma at work in my book what happened to him.

Whether it's true or not though I doubt anyone on this forum could say for certain.

 

Benn's a great person with a big heart and I can see why McClellan's family is angry about what happened but you can't blame Benn. Boxing can be a cruel sport.

It could have happened to Nigel as well and the way that fight was going it might have came pretty close to happening. Benn did what he had to do and any champion that was getting beat like that would have tried to do what he did.

 

That's the thing if it is true or not. I have never heard he bought other dogs to watch them get killed by his pits.

 

He was a useless cocksucker. I offer no support to this piece of ****.

 

He had obvious talent, but his defense was very poor and that was his downfall - though if he took you out early (as he did many opponents) that simply didn't come into play. Rather than develop what boxing skills he had, he seemed to forgo them as his career progressed and became too intent on going in "balls to the wall" and getting the KO. The loss to Benn revealed his defensive limitations as well as his inability to go to a "Plan B" once his bid for a quick KO hadn't worked.

 

I thought that was pretty much common knowledge.

As to the thread, McClellan is more overrated than underrated. I think he'd have petered out at the top level within a few years of a Benn fight even without the events going down as they did. He had been on a steady decline for some time post-Steward.

 

No one deserves what G-Man is going through.. it's ****ing dogs and birds.. he didn't kill other humans, he did **** them.. I don't support dog fighting, but how's it worse than the guy out shooting prairie dogs or killing rats in your house.. they are all animals..

What's sick is people saying he deserved this. Yet those same people probably wish Ike could come back.

 

Why?

If he had died would his sins be abolished?


At worst he was guilty of Animal cruelty. Is that worse than cruelty to humans?

There's no animosity at all. I don't care one way or the other, but the fact that he's crippled sure doesn't make me feel bad. As I said, he's a useless cocksucker. If he dies I'll still maintain that he was a useless cocksucker in life. People act like it's such a travesty what happened to him, but I'd prefer to think that it's better off without him torturing, maiming, and killing, helpless animals.

 

He wouldn`t of fought against Benn without a medical check up,British boxing board wouldn`t of allowed the fight to take place.McClellan wasn`t doing much to defend his chin against power puncher Benn throughout the fight anyway.
