I knew he liked to dog fighting but I thought they were just between other pits and not chained up and defenseless.

How do you work that out ? He knocked Jackson out first round in the fight before Benn and scored another one in the fight before that. Before that he was with Steward ,knocked Jackson out in 5 proceeded by several early knockouts. Some decline :-(
You've worked out he was on a decline from the two first round knockouts he scored since leaving Steward , one of which in he nearly decapitated Julian Jackson ?

Benn was blasted out of the ring in the first rd..most likely if it was held in vegas it would of been done in one. I never seen so many blows to the back of a fighters in any fight that ref allowed that also.

If you had Cortez reffing then you could well be right.

I have the same thought. I did not know he had headaches after Jackson. When I heard Michael Watson was hurt against Eubank I recall his knockout loss to Mike McCallum some time before that. I know he was ok after Mike, but that was a brutal knockout loss.

yes amittably the ref was extremly amateurish, very poor standard, but SET UP!! no chance pal, the only set up would have come from Don Kings and Mcclellans side. Benn returned to the ring before the count of twenty, which is allowed if the fighter falls out the ring. Whether this count was too slow or not is another matter all together and leads back to the amateurish reffing.

And many of them will cream in their pants if other unscrupulous athletes are mentioned. Like Joe Louis who admits to savagely PUNCHING & CHOKING Lena Horne unconscious to the point of nearly killing her had family not intervened on her behalf.

But there is no point in running down the bad behavior of other boxers to defend GMan whose behavior(IF TRUE) is indefensible. It's the same with Michael Vick & all the hypocrisy that surrounds the outrage against him.

We convict people solely on the words of others when a man is no longer able to defend himself.

Lets not talk about boxers faults now! We love watching them try to kill one another in the ring, cheer and goad them on, but if you so much as mention them not being ****ing angels outside of the ring you're lambasted.

He wasn`t "blasted"out he was knocked through the ropes but Benn was never going to get beat by McClellan anywhere. The silly fool disrespected Benns power and courage, plus his first fight at supermiddleweight against Benn wasn`t the best decision he made.

If McClellan did to your dog what he alledgedly did to his own on the same day that Corrales did to your pregnant wife what he did to his own, who would disgust you the most, and who would you be more angry at.

On a Corrales thread, You(Or anybody) didnt feel the need to add what he was like outside the ring when discussing Chico, or say 'Great Boxer, **** of a human being' or 'he deserved it' every time he is discussed, so what is it about McClellan?

Surely you dont hold mistreatment of animals in higher contempt than mistreatment of spouses?

    YOU dont.

I asked Marnoff because he was on a Corrales thread paying his respects(Fair enough) and didnt feel the need to mention what he was like outside the ring, or that he deserved what happened to him because of his actions.

I was asking why in a McClellan thread he(and others) feels the need to bring up what he did outside of it, and that he deserves his current situation. I was asking surely he doesnt view animal cruelty worse than spousal abuse.

If you think they are both assholes, fair enough. I am intrested to know why when McClellan gets brought up, folk, at best say things like 'Great Boxer, **** of a human being', but wont say it about other Boxers, who were far bigger ****s outside the ring. Thats all.
