Gerald McClellan

Who knows really. McClellan was said to have been suffering from frequent headaches after the first Jackson fight. That could mean something or it could mean nothing.

Maybe all that extreme weight cutting also took a toll on him.

 

Gman used to spar with heavyweights with no headguard on (Kronk sparring)

He complained about headaches way before this fight & had been in with some serious punchers

Very sad how he ended up, he wasnt the nicest human being ever (feeding his pitbull spaniels with their mouths taped up) but you wouldnt wish what happened to him on your worst enemy. Benn helped with the fundraising after their brutal war which had perhaps the worst referee Ive ever seen.

 

Yup sad story, Gerald was a dick outside the ring but he didnt deserve that. Thats boxing.

Such a talented boxer/puncher but not the nicest individual

 

From what I read he use to get golden retrievers from kennels, he would time how long it took his pits to kill them. Pretty twisted dude.

He probably had a pre-existing problem.

The referee was bought. Benn could have hit him with a sledgehammer and he still wouldn't have been disqualified.

 

I always love when Gerald is brought up and we get these loving people say he deserves to be in this condition for what he did with his dogs etc.
