    Not perhaps .
Surely d worst ref ever .
McClellan was going 2 finish Benn as soon as d 1st round but d ref kept stalling , breaking and pausing d fight until d round was over and Benn got his time 2 recuperate .
McClellan came into d fight as damaged goods already , with headaches and that twitching / winking in his eyes that occured as soon as d 1st Julian Jackson fight , if not prior 2 it .
Under fair referee , McClellan would have still stopped Benn as soon as d 1st rd .

dont know if this has been added but Bunce aka steve bunce whos a boxing pundit in the UK has posted on the brit forum before how Mclellan while still poorly was in decent shape but it was his familys or don kings wish to get him back to the US as soon as possible which caused his problems he simply wasnt ready for a flight of any length and complications set in.... I might not have that totally correct but im prety sure thats what he has reported

    Yes. Above is correct.

Bunce stated that he was taken to a great hospital in London with a first class neuro surgeon. He had no sign of any long lasting damage, but had to stay there for 14-21days.

Instead he and his team against doctors orders decided to fly to USA for "better" treatment.

In doing so he made himself into forest gump....

Ref had nothing to do with it, heart of benn and glass chin of mccleland did.

    Benn destroyed another hype job...

    Karma is a *****....

Yeah, I think what G-Man did was disgusting, especially coming from someone who likes dogs, but it's a tad strange to me how hateful and passionate are about him as opposed to other fighters, to the point where it overshadows his ring exploits/excitement and hijacks every thread.

No one says this about fighters like Chico and Gatti. They may have not killed dogs, but isn't assaulting women (especially pregnant ones) and brain damaging other people in street fights pretty disgusting too? People can get past that and actually talk about them as fighters. We revere them as warriors and praise how exciting they were. People rarely talk about Monzon deserving to die in that bus crash, or how one of the only living fighters from boxing's "Golden Age" is Jake "I **** teenage virgins" LaMotta.

Well, lots of crimes are part of everyday life.

I think dog fighting is sick, but I don't really get why people can't discuss G-Man as a fighter without dog fighting and the issue of karma coming in. We can keep the discussions limited to boxing for other fighters who also committed disgusting acts, some worse than dog fighting, but it seems every McClellan thread turns into a debate on whether his condition is karma for his actions.

what do you mean the ref had nothing to do with it? Dont you think if you have a guy on ***** street and one or 2 more flush shots might finish it only to have some moron ref jump in and seperate you and give the hurt guy some time that that perhaps may affect the outcome?
