He showed a granite chin. I agree about his skills, never been a fan of him in that regard. But his chin and power were top of the line. The guy took flush shot after flush shot from Jackson for 5 rounds in their first fight and barely seemed to register them (outside of one sequence where he did seem hurt for a second, but shook it off well). A lot of people forget that Jackson was winning that fight. Gerald was eating some bombs.

I think his chin was every bit as impressive as his power, to be honest. He'd get cracked clean in the face and wouldn't even need to shake it off. Then again that didn't work out so well for him in the long run. The first fight with Jackson (combined with the constant weight draining) is what led to his brain trauma later on. You could even see that same erratic blinking you saw in the Benn fight in the Jackson fight, and he often complained of feeling "rushing water" in his head afterwards.

Yep, as I said in this thread, weight cutting ****ed him up, not a headbutt from Benn.

Yeah, I didn't mean his chin was just good. I do think he would've had much more hassle if he'd gone on to face people his own size. But to go on to beat Jones? No f'n way.

Man none of ya'll ain't never been to the hood. Dog fighting is everywhere! Trust me when I tell you. Typical white british boxing fans commenting on an upbringing they don't relate to.

Taping a smaller dogs mouth shut?

Running over flamingos, is that commonplace as well?

I'm from a rough area, have had guns, gang wars, petrol bombings. I wouldn't torture animals for fun.

If that's the standard upbringing in 'the hood' it's a shocking indictment of that kind of life. It happens, I know, social depravation is bad. But it doesn't mean I'll condone it.

    No, typical BRITISH boxing fans.

The vast majority of Brits or normal people in the majority of the world, in poverty or otherwise, white or otherwise, do not fight dogs or torture animals for fun.

That non-white Americans are ****s by your own admission is not justification

What you want a Blue Peter badge ? Who exactly chooses to go to the "hood", not a single place in the world in which you have a mass migration of blacks does it have a "positive outcome", work out why **** for brains.

Only one reason you're from the hood, it's cause your crackhead parents wanted to breed filth to live in filth. If i had my way i would sterilise the Ghetto stop them from breeding.

The Ghettos in a sense are like Africa, the killings/Aids stuff keeps the numbers in control, it's a legal form of Ethnic cleansing.

What Mclellan did to animals knocks me sick to my stomach. I've started fights with radnom lads in the street who I've seen kick a dog, I feel strongly about it. Horrible, so ****ing horrible. Bullies are the worst people on the planet. I think people who do that deserve something vile to happen to them, a severe raping or a torturing. He was young and I have known lads who have indulged dog fighting round by where I live, all of them pricks, all of them scallies, but some of them confused and with their heads up their asses over having a ****ed up home life etc etc. It doesn't necessarily mean he was one of the worst people on the planet. I've made plenty of mistakes, I;ve had my come uppances (spell check), probably most people have. I hate him for what he did to those animals, but that said I'm not going to give him a load of **** now because the fact is he can't defend himself or say it back, because of his situation and predicament now. Giving **** to someone who can't give it back is being a bully too, and **** that. It is what it is. What he did was despicable, what's happened to him is terrible, a spiral of ****.

Called Karma, he can't wipe his own arse, so thats enough for me. I don't think you found anyone mocking him, just stating no one gives two shits about him.
