Ranked 27th in the hardest hitters of all time I think? Very good fighter worst thing he did was split with Manny Steward and bring that fool Stan Johnson on board. Had all the stuff to become the next Tommy Hearns if he shored his defence up and picked his shots a lot better.

Exactly like the Olympic team Lacy was on said that JEff Lacy was a harder puncher than the Olympic Heavyweights!

Evander Holyfield and Oliver McCall refusing to spar with G-Man because he hit too hard.

Don't know if true but that was the rumour

    G man takes this one.

The bloke should have had a KO 1 on his record against Benn

Im Welsh and a massive Calzaghe fan, and Benn was one of my favourite fighters

But G man was special and would beat Calzaghe by UD or TKO

Calzaghe beat 40 window washers, a over hyped Jef Lacy and 2 past it legends. Not exactly an amazing resume when you actually look through it

Couldn't disagree more. If GMan was that good he would have put Benn away and he has his chances, as Eubank had done it before. GMan was good but if anyone deserves to be called special it's Calzaghe - agree that his resume isn't the best but he had fantastic hand speed and had knockout power before having hand trouble, excellent ring IQ & adaptability, solid chin and resilience and above all the will to win.

IMO G-Man would have been thoroughly outboxed. Cant see anything other than a stoppage.

Jeff lacy and g man totally different styles gman used to love to throw that big straight right. If Kessler manged to hurt joe in the 4th with the uppercut g man would have put him to sleep

Calzaghe wide UD or late TKO.

Calzaghe too good a boxer for McClellan, McClellan has been outboxed by much lesser fighters than Calzaghe
