McClellan was a level or 2 below Calzaghe. I know that McClellan's power has now been hyped beyond legendary status, but realistically he would have very little chance of beating Calzaghe.
I have to agree with what you say...McClellan beat up nobody's in his career....china chined julian jackson......And got KTFO by the BRITTLE chined Nigel Benn.....Who just fought gerrald in the trenches and was by FAR the tougher man....and ben was a SMALL super middleweight.....who WAS a BIG puncher AT..................MIDDLEWEIGHT!.......JOE SLAPPY By easy ud.
I think u should go look up Jackson and watch him fight. Joe was very easy to hit which is a no no agaisnt a murderous puncher like the g
Who has the "G" MAN ever knocked out......give me names.....NOT mexican road sweeper's........murderous puncher my ass!
G-Man had the power and Calzaghe, in his prime, has been KD by lesser punchers. With that said, I imagine Calzaghe being more smart, since the likelihood of him hurting G-Man and getting him on the ropes being careless would not happen and G-Man doesn't necessarily throw sneaky right hands like Hops. But Calzaghe is quick and he WOULD get hit. I believe he has quick recovery though. I think Calzaghe wins based on the fact that G-Man started to regress as a fighter (became a head hunter when his best punch was that hook to the body and didn't use his jab like he used to), whereas Calzaghe got better as he went along.
mind you, Benn won the last fight with Eubie, to all intents. just a note, not commenting on your post's point at all.
