    You're nuts.

Look at his boxrec page; he only has Mugabi and Jackson.
He was 7 younger, with a sizeable rach advantage over both.

    All the other are scrubs.

He then loses to a semi-retired 31 year old, who can't miss with his left hook and lands it blinfolded.

    GGG doesn't have these advantages.
And he still easily destroys all of them regardless.

    Really... that.... ?

Have you watched the fight FFS?

You musta missed the bit where in (I'll have to rewatch) mid 7 where GGG thumps his chest, looks straight at Stevens and gives it 'c'mon'?

By round 8 Stevens is completely broken. The instance you refer to is Stevens flailing desperately and completely ineffectually trying to interrupt his punishment for a moment. GGG simply steps back calmly outta the way of his hapless swings, before stepping back in and beating on Curtis some more.

Please. Watch the round again. Watch the fighters' body language. Watch Curtis flailing. Now tell me GGG was neglecting his defense and vulnerable.

What was the moment? I think it was around mid round 6, Golovkin simply switches up a gear and beats living s#it outta Curtis. From that point on he's in absolute control.

At least watch the damn fight if you're gonna comment on it. Golovkin was no longer in any danger whatsoever from Stevens, and knew it.

The only argument for Stevens taking a round is when he backs GGG up momentarily in 4 or 5 (my old brain ain't as good as it once was) - it could be argued Curtis won 30 seconds of the round and actually managed to get a baleful look off Golovkin. It was the most significant response he got all night.

    Perhaps.
But up to now, nobody beat up and stopped Stevens the way GGG did.
    Not even Direll.

Who is Curtis Stevens? Last we saw him, Hasan N'Dam was giving him a boxing lesson...

I bet you can't name 2 of Stevens opponents without looking at boxrec. He beat no one!

The question is, have YOU watched the fight?

Curtis "****-time" Stevens is routinely able to exploit Triple Duck's defensive liabilities throughout the fight. Stevens is finding Triple Duck with the jab, right hand and left hook - in combination - for most of the fight. Triple Duck is getting hit with the second and third punches - shots guys with *defense* aren't going to get hit with routinely.

K2 can only keep up this charade for so long. Eventually they'll have to put him in the ring with someone who can FIGHT. Someone who can exploit Triple Duck's weak defense and capitalize...

....someone who can throw blindfolded his left hook and still crash it on his jaw, round in and out ?

Is that what you meant ?

Many times. Naturally. You... ah what's the point? It was a complete domination. If you saw something different there ain't much to talk about.

I'm also right now going back over some G-Man fights and if I've got time I'll look over Mugabi a little more (ain't watched much of Mugabi, so it's fair to say I boxreced an opinion there).

You think that Golovkins an accident waiting to happen? Fair 'nuff. I ain't wasting my time trying to change your opinion. I will educate myself a little more for my own interest however.

Tell you what though. How's about you make a prediction on just when and how GGG loses? The guy's that vulnerable surely you can think of someone who beats him?
