No surprise, both fighters are managed by Haymon. So Wilder will likely fight a guy who couldn't beat 43 year old Amir Mansour. SMH

i said previously that i expect a jennings or washington fight.

washington is a trier but not ever going to be a champ

    same with jennings

an american fighter makes sense for wilder but there is limited choice

personally i dont rate ruiz (i know he is mexican )
    breazale is fighting joshua
jennings is coming off back to back losses.
    washington has shown his limitations.

personally i think baby miller is americas most dangerous fighter for wilder but he is still fighting gimmee fighters and needs to step up/ but he looks a solid hard hitting fighter to me/ just obviously one who has never driven past a fast food resteraunt he did not stop at.

This would be a tough fight for Wilder as Washington is quite effective at using his size. And he seems to have learned from the debacle vrs. Mansour if the Chambers fight is any indication. Too risky and won't happen imho. But if it does happen then Wilder is only the slight favorite.

washingtons stamina improved v chambers / but chambers cant punch

against mansour washington was gassed from stamina or body punches from round 4 and fought to survive only from then on.

wilder to big/fast/powerful for washington / and washington does not have much power to put a dent in wilder.

can washington do a spilzka and show us something new and keep wilder unbalanced and uncordinated/ personally no / but then i thought spilzka was an easy fight until he proved he was actually blessed with some skills i had not seen before.

Washington has two things going for him, his reach and height against tiny little midgets, both of those advantages will be negated by Wilder, since he's taller and has a longer reach. Wilder KO's him in 4.

Hey, there"s Ortiz.... But, of course, Wilder's back to fighting the nobodies of this world...

I agree with this, GW is built to beat up on small heavies using the Emanuel Stewart blueprint, but the top heavies from here on out are going to be big. GW wouldn't be able to keep Deontay off of him if the fight takes place.

I thought WBC rules meant it had to be someone in their top 10?

ok, well tbf to Wilder most of them aren't really viable as he's already fought them or they're otherwise engaged.

    I'd prefer Pulev but :conf

I'd prefer Jarrell Miller, too bad he is not ranked in top 15.
