The Pole has a sturdy chin and unrelenting offensive. Maybe the reason for the odds.

Washington is going to be 37 in a couple months. He's getting old.

A light hitting heavyweight with suspect gas tank against an iron chinned puncher that stays active? I'd say the odds are about right.

    Washington can't fight. Kownacki can.

    Kownacki wins by kayo.

Kownacki will grind him out for a UD win.( unless its another stoppage for no real reason like the Wilder and Miller fights ) He was fine and fighting back.

Its all perspective take the underdog if you think Washington is better then Martin, i don't think he is but that's just me. Martin was off over a year and probably could have defeated Kownacki with a little more urgency and maybe 2 more rounds ,it was a ten rounder.

Your looking at the Wilder fight but the fights you need to look at are.

    1. Miller vs Washington ( Kownacki is Millers sparring partner) and brings the same style.

    2. Martin vs Kownacki . It was his last fight and Martin fights very similar to Washington so he has a much more active gauge and timing will be sharper.

Take these fights and add in activity ,Washington is out of the ring longer where it matters and his last opponent does not resemble a Kownacki .

These are all points that suggest Washington will not win this one,but it is competitive.

Rivas winning will be a upset. I cant see it unless Jennings is sleep fighting in there. If he cant beat Rivas he has no business near the top ten.

    Jennings by late stoppage .

Washington has the skills and dimensions to make Kownacki look bad for a few rounds, but sooner or later Kownacki's pressure is going to get to him and he'll start to unravel. He just doesn't have the heart to hang in a prolonged firefight with anyone, and his lack of power or defensive footwork will see him shipping consistent punishment once Kownacki figures him out.

Washington can outbox him at range. I have doubts Kownacki is any more than a gatekeeper.

Found Washington on betting exchange @ 7.11/1 If Washington has worked on his movement and comes in with the right gameplan, things could get interesting.
I favour Kownacki to win but not at how short they got him
