if Joshua fights him it's w.e especially if he's fighting Wilder or someone big next. But hard to get excited for that one. Hearn is definitely not going to take any short notice risks with Joshua at this stage of his career. Any mishaps now and the gravy train comes to a crashing halt. He's hoping to squeeze at least 2-3 more big fights out of him.

On the plus side though, when Joshua gets rid of him in two rounds, it will knock Wilder's "resume" down even further.

Damn, this is bad. Maybe they should just show up and let AJ fight random dudes from the audience. If they last two rounds, they get a million bucks.

Washington was one of the worst of Windmill's defences. And that's saying something. And he's way older now. And been ko'd many times.

I can't believe they'd put this can in front of Joshua.

Guess it makes sense. Joshua hasn't stopped somebody for 3 years now, put in an old man who has been knocked out in 5 of his past 7 fights.

AJ needs to just stay busy, Washington will do. Who knows maybe he'll make it a good fight.

It would be amazing if they just elevated Hrgovic but we know that isn't happening.

Has any world level fighter ever lost twice to late replacements?

At this point Inoue could probably sleep Geriatric Washedoutton.
