When are we going to dispense with the myth that Scott took a dive. It's clear he simply has an eggshell chin. Just watch Scott's fights against Thompson and Ortiz.
Yeah I'm not denying that.. But he clearly tried to quit against Ortiz early on but the ref wouldn't let him.
Wilder will own the referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., as usual...........................so even if he does poorly, he will still be given a decision..............boxing is crooked..............
Come on man, I think this thread is ridiculous at the minute but Scott definitely took a dive. It was incredibly obvious. Now who got to him? is the bigger question. I wouldn't of been surprised if there was a few people who took the bookies to the cleaners in that fight. I also think Wilder would have beaten him anyway but the fix was clearly in for an early loss.
Have you never watched any of Scott's other fights or are you just stupid? His chin is a perpetual problem for him. Go watch his fight against Thompson.
Not sure what kind of shape Wilder's right hand will be in... but one thing I'm certain of is that Washington won't be diving here unless his Chin lets him down.
I have but even the worst chins need actual blows to get shattered. I think that was some sort of betting scam rather than an attempt to help Wilder but it's asa dodgy as they come.
Agreed, Or maybe Scott just had no heart for the fight, as UTF said he also tried to quit against Ortiz.
I'd be more likely to go with the no heatt theory if he hadn't rallied to win against Thompson and it wasn't the first round when he went down against Wilder. It's not like he got battered from pillar to post and so had a reason to want out, he just wanted out.
The Scott "fight" definitely looked suspect. However, I seriously doubt the same dubious scenario will play out here.
